1. About us

tlaketia.com (the "Site") and all related portals, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services") are owned and operated by TheScope180, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company. T. Laketia Jones is the founder and principal of TheScope180, LLC and is the named mentor for the mentorship services described herein. References to "T. Laketia," "the mentor," or "your mentor" on the Site refer to services provided through TheScope180, LLC.

2. Services we provide

Our Services currently include:

• The Career Intelligence Portal — an invitation-only private portal containing tailored career documents, the Career Playbook, LinkedIn Studio, and the AI Mentor
• Mentorship sessions — scheduled one-on-one mentorship calls (mock interview, career strategy, resume review, salary negotiation prep)
• AI Mentor — a conversational AI feature trained on your portal content and T. Laketia's mentorship methodology
• Marketing and educational content on the public pages of the Site

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time without notice.

3. Your account

The Career Intelligence Portal is invitation-only. You may only access the portal using the email address on file and the password we issue you. You agree:

• You will not share your portal credentials with anyone else
• You will not access another client's portal, even if you obtain their credentials
• You will not attempt to create unauthorized accounts
• You will promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

Only an administrator of TheScope180, LLC may reset your password. You may not change your own password through the portal.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Resell, repackage, sublicense, or commercially exploit any portion of the Services or its content
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from the portal except as needed for your personal job search
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any portion of the Services
• Submit harassing, threatening, defamatory, or knowingly false content to the AI Mentor or mentorship sessions
• Submit malware, viruses, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Services
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

5. AI Mentor disclaimer

The AI Mentor uses Anthropic's Claude language model to generate responses based on your portal content, your career documents, and T. Laketia's mentorship methodology. You understand and agree that:

• The AI Mentor is a tool, not a replacement for T. Laketia's live mentorship
• AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for verifying any factual claims before acting on them
• The AI Mentor does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, or licensed-professional advice. Do not rely on its responses for any such purpose
• Your conversations with the AI Mentor are processed by Anthropic and stored in our database for context, quality review, and service improvement (see the Privacy Policy)
• The AI Mentor is subject to usage caps. You may not attempt to bypass or circumvent these caps

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site and in the portal — including text, graphics, the Career Playbook, LinkedIn copy, resume templates, training materials, brand marks, logos, and design — is owned by TheScope180, LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

For the duration of your active subscription, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use your tailored career documents and Playbook content for your personal job search only. You may not redistribute, sell, or publish this content. You may copy individual LinkedIn snippets directly into your LinkedIn profile — that is the intended use.

Career documents that you upload (such as your existing resume) remain your property. By uploading them, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, and use them to deliver the Services to you.

7. Confidentiality

Client information, portal content, mentorship discussions, uploaded documents, and career strategy materials are confidential. You agree not to record, distribute, publish, or share any mentorship session, portal material, AI Mentor output, or customized career document except for your own personal career use.

Specifically:

• Do not audio-record, video-record, or screen-record any mentorship session without T. Laketia's prior written consent
• Do not share screenshots of your Playbook, LinkedIn copy, AI Mentor conversations, or any other portal content with third parties for commercial purposes or to teach/coach others
• You may show your own tailored career documents (resume, cover letter) to recruiters, hiring managers, and potential employers — that is the intended use
• You may copy individual LinkedIn snippets and Playbook content into your own profile and personal job-search workflow — that is also the intended use

The confidentiality obligations in this section survive termination of these Terms.

8. Payment, pricing & recurring billing

Pricing for each product is displayed at the point of purchase. Current pricing (subject to change):

• Foundation package: $100 USD one-time
• LinkedIn Studio add-on: $50 USD one-time (portal-client price)
• Mentorship sessions: $100 USD per 45-minute session, with a 50% discount automatically applied for portal clients ($50 per session)
• AI Mentor: included free with the Foundation package

All payments are processed by PayPal. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full payment card information. By making a purchase you authorize PayPal to charge the amount displayed at checkout. All prices are in U.S. Dollars and exclude any taxes that may be required by your jurisdiction.

No employment guarantee. Payment is for access to the Services described above. Payment does not guarantee any career outcome, including but not limited to: a job interview, a job offer, a salary increase, a promotion, a referral, an introduction, or a successful career transition. You acknowledge that you are paying for materials, mentorship, and tools — not for a promised result. See section 12 for additional disclaimers.

Recurring billing (when applicable). All current products are one-time purchases. We do not currently bill any client on a recurring basis. If we introduce any subscription, recurring-payment, or auto-renewing product in the future, we will:

• Disclose the billing frequency, billing amount, and renewal cadence clearly at the point of enrollment, before you authorize payment
• Send you a clear electronic confirmation summarizing the recurring terms after enrollment
• Provide an easy self-service cancellation method that does not require contacting customer service or canceling through more steps than enrollment required
• Send a renewal reminder before each subsequent charge to the email address on file

This commitment aligns with applicable consumer-protection requirements for recurring-payment disclosure and cancellation (including FTC negative-option guidance). Until a recurring product is introduced and you separately agree to it, no recurring charges will be initiated against your payment method.

9. Cancellation and refunds

All sales are final. See our full Refund Policy for details. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the Refund Policy. Payment is for the Services as described and never for a guaranteed employment outcome (see section 8).

10. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you have a billing concern, contact us first at tlaketiajones@gmail.com. We will respond within three (3) business days and work to resolve the issue.

You agree not to initiate a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute with PayPal, your card issuer, or any other payment processor without first attempting to resolve the matter directly with us. Filing a chargeback without prior contact may result in:

• Immediate suspension or termination of your portal access
• Forfeiture of any unused Services associated with the disputed charge
• Reasonable cost recovery for the dispute (including chargeback fees imposed by the payment processor)

We reserve the right to contest fraudulent chargebacks and provide supporting documentation to the applicable payment processor or financial institution. This section does not waive any consumer rights you have under applicable law to dispute a charge after attempting to resolve it with us in good faith.

11. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Service disclaimers (including no-employment-guarantee)

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Without limiting the foregoing, you specifically acknowledge that:

• Mentorship is not legal, financial, tax, or licensed-professional advice
• We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to: job interviews, job offers, salary increases, promotions, network introductions, or career transitions
• Career outcomes depend on factors outside of our control, including your effort, the job market, your existing qualifications, and timing
• Information about specific companies, recruiters, salary bands, or industries is provided as guidance and may be incomplete or outdated

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL TheScope180, LLC, its officers, members, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost wages, lost opportunities, or lost data — arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TheScope180, LLC and its officers, members, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Services, (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (d) any content you submit or upload.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or non-payment. Upon termination, your right to access the portal ends immediately, and the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising under or related to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and increment the version number. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or a notice in the portal. Your continued use of the Services after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
